In our 2013 report “Black Male Student Athletes and Racial Inequities in NCAA Division I College Sports,” two center researchers and I provide data that show the overrepresentation of black male student athletes relative to their enrollment in the general student body at institutions in six major NCAA Division I athletic conferences.
